Wash your clothes responsibly!

Description

This washing bag is a scientifically-approved filter solution to stop micro plastic pollution caused by washing synthetic textiles. It reduces fiber from breaking significantly and thus extends the lifetime of your textiles. Using the washing bag reduces the breaking of synthetic textiles by 86% on average. The fibers that do break during washing are captured inside the bag and can easily be removed.

How to Use

To use, fill the washing bag half full with synthetic textiles. Wash your clothes as usual with other clothes in the washing machine that are not made of synthetic textiles. Take out your wet clothes after washing and hang dry or dry in a dryer. The released microfibers stick to the upper corners inside the bag. Remove them from the corners and dispose of them properly. For liquid detergents.

Do not wash warmer than 30°C/ 86°F to reduce hydrolysis of polyester fibers. Use liquid detergents only and do not use more detergent than needed.

Do not rinse the bag under water. Do not put the bag in your dryer.

Please dispose of the collected microfibers in the residual waste. It is best to collect and dispose of the collected fibers in a closed container. This reduces the chance of the small and very light synthetic fibers being blown away during waste collection and to end up in the environment.

Customer Reviews (5.0 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Violet ★★★★★

The zipper feels sturdy and the mesh is fine enough to actually trap the fibers—after three washes of my gym shirts, the water came out noticeably clearer. It’s become a permanent part of my laundry routine without adding any extra hassle.

Madison ★★★★★

I was skeptical about the whole microplastic thing, but after four washes with this bag, the water in my machine is noticeably clearer than what I got from my regular loads. The filter really seems to be catching the broken fibers instead of letting them slip through the drain.

Owen I. ★★★★★

The seams held up fine after three loads and the zipper stayed shut the whole time. I can already see way less lint in the trap since I started putting my fleece jackets in this bag.
