I’ve been using these netted cotton bags for about a month now, and they’ve completely replaced my plastic produce bags at the market. The mesh weave is fine enough for small items like cherry tomatoes without tearing, and they wash up easily in the sink after a trip.
The mesh weave lets me see exactly what’s in each bag, which makes grabbing dinner ingredients from the fridge so much faster. They’re sturdier than the flimsy plastic ones I used to use, and knowing they’re organic cotton makes me feel a little better about my footprint.
I’ve swapped out all my plastic produce bags for these netted cotton ones, and the organic weave feels sturdy enough for heavy oranges without stretching out. They handle bulk oats and loose greens just as well, and knowing there’s zero plastic involved makes the switch feel like a no-brainer.
